New Wacom Screen

Fri May 1, 2009, 9:15 PM
I have some awesome news. A friend of mine has owned a Wacom monitor which has a stylus that you can use to draw directly onto the screen. Yeah, that's right, my buddy is "the man" when it comes to technology.

Anyways -- for some reason he doesn't want the screen anymore and I've been telling him that I'd like to buy it. But when he first put it up for sale, I was married to a bitch of a woman that didn't know that Money didn't grow on trees. So having this monitor was always on my wish list... thinking I'd never even have the chance to see how it worked.

THEN I got into my ATV accident. I won't go into too much detail as to the injuries, but I WILL say that I fractured my spine. (Fortunately my spinal cord is just fine, so I'm walking around again... I can't run, but I can walk).

So, now that I'm divorced, I'm also unemployed and handicapped... so my hopes to have or use one of these monitors has been put into the DISTANT future.

Well, my buddy and I had a conversation on the phone and he said: "It's just sitting here and no one is using it. And I'm just thinking that I should let you borrow it".

... This guy is awesome. When I couldn't afford a Computer, this guy bought one for me and told me to pay him back... I haven't managed to do that yet... I still owe him $400 for this computer. And now he's generous enough to let me borrow his monitor.

This guy will do more than take the shirt off his back for you. When I told him I might file for bankruptcy, he told me that he'd carry some of my financial burdens to prevent that from happening -- BUT I can't, in good conscience, let him do that.

But ohh.... This monitor looks so cool.

The only problem?

He forgot to bring the stylus for it. Lol

So I can't even use it yet. But I'm just DROOLING over it. It's so pretty!

Hello folks. Welcome to my DA profile. I'm here, hoping to get a little notticed and to give feedback to as many artists as much as possible.

I've always enjoyed artwork and I'm enjoying my process of learning more and more ways to entertain the eye, or even to trick it.

If you have questions, feel free to ask. I'm on DA quite often and I'm always interested in helping other artists learn new things.

If you'd like to have my work or use it. You can purchase of download it. JUST DO NOT USE IT IN ANYTHING COMERCIAL.

If you post my art any place outside of DA, I expect that my signature will remain on the picture and I expect that I will be mentioned clearly as the creator of the artwork. By CLEARLY I mean, I don't want me being mentioned in tiny fine print. I mean in normal size twelve font size and if you could add the color RED that would be nice.

Devious Info

  • Interests: Drawing, Painting, Sculpting, Acting, Writing, Computers.
  • Favourite gaming platform: PS3 (BY FAR)
  • Personal Quote: 't's all myth to me.

Ah nothing really. I think I told you that I fractured my spine. Well the hospital bills are pretty stinking huge and so after I moved out of my parents house, the only way to access the internet is by going to the library. I'm thinking of getting the internet anyways. I can't pay these hospital bills anyways. they're designed to make you fail.

Talk about health cared, here's all we need to do to fix it. We don't need anything to fix it. We just need the hospital to do good business. When people go to the hospital... it usually goes without saying that they're HOSPITALIZED and can't work... thus they can't pay any bills. So when every single department individually wants $20 per month... they've screwed your credit by the time that you can actually TRY to work it off. By the time that you start getting money... there's no way to fix the credit and such. All that they need to do is consolidate all the hospital charges with all the various hospital and hospital related departments or groups and create on single easy to pay monthly expense -- like $20. Duh! It's not that hard to fix. Getting SOME money, even during a drawn out period by a large number of people is better than getting no money at all.

I work for AT&T. Did you know that AT&T only charges $ 0.82 for each customer? They get less than a dollar from each customer every month. Everything else that the customer pays is purely the cost that AT&T has to pay to keep the service alive.

One day, just one day, maybe, I'm going to meet somebody who gets the whole "don't wander off" thing. Nine hundred years of phone box travel and it's the only thing left that surprises me
